why do dislike spring buffer's it give's the model more detail

I have said a fair few times how I think Maunsell locomotives that don’t have the regular smoke deflectors look a little bit odd to me but I do have to say that Sir Francis Drake does look quite good without them, great addition here peter, wouldn’t mine one of these Lord Nelson’s myself at some point, will have to see if I can get up to that A Oakes shop one day and take a look at what they have but I don’t live very close to the West Midlands so not sure if or when that could happen, it’s a shame they don’t have an online shop, I have heard they don’t do online for their model railway stuff, great review here Peter.

Great review of this great looking model.The sprung front axle is actually a form of compensation chassis which should ensure smoother running over uneven track by maintaining better contact with the track.

Overall an excellent review here peter, first off very interesting to see dapol sort of emulating what cavalex models did with their 56 on the packaging having this sit on a plinth and then be supported by the foam inside with no ice cube round it, overall it does look to be a very good model from dapol, that though is where I am at with it, for me these small industrial style locomotives just don’t interest me that much, I don’t have any in my fleet of locomotives and don’t really go out of my way to get them, the hornby pugs and pecketts, the Andrew Barclays I don’t have any of in my collection, I have more interest in the big express passenger and freight locomotives compared to these so overall I thing it’s very unlikely that one of these will be added to my fleet, overall a very good review here peter, I can certainly understand why you like this but as I say it’s not really a loco that interests me or gets me as excited, wouldn’t be surprised if these become as popular as hornbys peckett was, these locomotives in model form tend to do that, great video overall here Peter.

Glad the loco got repainted into the red/maroon! It’s such a striking livery in comparison to the usual plain blacks!!

Excellent overall running session here Peter, very interesting how the caledonian blue is different between the Fairborn and the 812, saying that though if I remember beck to your review of it was the Fairburn done in preservation as a what it may have looked like livery, good running session overall, keep up the great work.

Such a shame when Mazark rot takes one of our locos, luckily though it hasn’t happened to me and hopefully never will, while I do say that though I have had a minor experience of it with a hornby class 50 but luckily it seemed to be isolated to some specific parts on that model and the rest wasn’t affected, luckily I did get some replacement 3D printed parts for it as well, great running session here Peter, good to see you could get a replacement model that isn’t affected.

Hi Peter, I recently got my hands on one of these observation cars, it’s in quite good condition but needs a bit of attention in the roof area, I’m very happy with it overall and in the not too distant future I’d like to fit a dcc decoder to control the lighting, I don’t believe Hornby will produce this coach again so they will become as rare as an honest politician, thanks for sharing.

I’ve got these exact wagons but no tail lamp. Can’t seem to find out if there’s two versions.

There is Always One Passenger who will, 'Just Not Sit Down and Behave..!' 😂 Job Well Done. A small Detail, I always use to stop the Coach Rolling about, is Either Remove Wheels. ( which Can be a Faff..!) Or... Use Some scrap Styrofoam with Dents to Fit wheels into...! It just saves time, not needing to chase the Coach all the time..! I have used the Same Bit of Foam for Painting a Few coaches and it's now taken on a Camo look..! Sadly I May have to invest in a New Bit Soon..! As Some Drips of Poly cement have started to Nibble away at it..! Great Finished item, looks far more Realistic..! Well Done. Cheers All, Kim from Downunder 🦘🦘

They look like good wagons overall peter, to be honest I think EFE are doing quite well at the moment, I currently only have 3 of their models myself these are mainly the locomotives though like the ex heljan 58, the 144 pacer and one of the bulleid boosters, I haven’t got any rolling stock from them yet but might look at that crane they are doing, overall good review and running session here peter, keep up the great work.

Great catch here peter, a one-off catching 50007 with a part unpainted but it’s losing its GBRF now isn’t it same with the other GBRF one, shame that is as it was a really nice livery, wish I had been able to see them in person myself

Excellent catch here peter, one of Thompsons finest and great to see it at speed as well, don’t ever recall seeing Mayflower at speed before in any videos I have seen of her and haven’t seen it in person myself.

Great piece of machinery and it will be great if they could get her all fired up and to get her to steam up again and to get her into mainline condition and to run her on test runs up and down the seven valley railway and for her to do a mainline test run aswell and to get her to run on a railtour coming up shap with 12 maroon coaches on and to run on a railtour from Crewe to Holyhead aswell on the Irish mail and from London Euston to Chester aswell and to all other places aswell and it will be great if she meets up with the duchess of Sutherland aswell and stands along side with the duchess of Sutherland and hope it happens one day👌👌👌🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞and anything is possible.

Excellent catch here Peter, fantastic to see a peak running under its own power on the mainline, one of my favourite British diesels and think I may have mentioned before but my dad when he was young saw every one of them across all 3 classes.
